Giddapahar Premium Second Flush Black Tea (DJ 65/2023) (EBO)

Giddapahar means Eagle’s Cliff (Gidda = Eagle and Pahar = mountain or cliff) - a natural rock formation that overlooks the tea estate. It was started in 1881 where the combination of low temperatures and favorable slope create perfect conditions for excellent quality teas.

The full-bloom, copper-black leaves have a subtle toasty-floral aroma. When brewed, the golden cup is sweet and clean. The well-rounded mellow cup immediately bursts into layers of complex fruity flavor at the first sip, followed by hints of woody notes at the mid-palate, finishing off with a lingering muscatel hues.
